Devrim Aran

President & Chief Executive Officer

Seasoned pharmaceutical executive with more than 25 years of leadership in drug development, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, and commercialization across multinational startup biotech, mid-sized, and large pharmaceutical companies. Proven track record advancing oncology, hematology, neurodegeneration, and infectious disease therapies from early development to market launch.

Led multiple biopharmaceutical ventures from inception — including INNOX Corp., Arkhé Pharm., and Comodo Health — advancing rare oncology, biosimilar biologics, and drug-device combination products from discovery through regulatory approval, raising capital and securing investor funding across each. At Novartis, directed development and commercialization strategies for the Gleevec/Tasigna franchise, which generated more than $1 billion in global sales, and served as core development team member within IDTI working on translational research programs including everolimus. At Abraxis Oncology, led the launch of Abraxane, achieving $135M in sales within nine months. Began career at Roche, leading commercialization of PEGASYS for HCV/HIV co-infection and directing oncology and infectious disease programs including Roferon-A and Kytril.

Dr. Omar Ahmed

Chief Scientific Officer & Chief Strategy Officer

25 years of research, development and commercialization experience building industry-leading specialty care portfolios, establishing strategic partnerships, and launching transformational blockbuster therapies.

Prior to joining Kinexar Bio, he served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Clinical, Medical & Scientific Affairs and Portfolio Strategy at Humanigen, Inc., where he helped lead the development and execution of corporate strategy that up-listed the company onto Nasdaq within three years, reaching a peak market cap of $1 billion.

Previously held responsibilities for advancing Janssen’s $10 billion global immunology portfolio, from early development to late-stage development, including lifecycle management for Remicade, Simponi and Stelara, and served as board member for the Janssen EMEA Emerging Markets, covering 42 countries in the Middle East, West Asia and Africa Region.

Previously held executive leadership positions at Roche and Novartis Pharmaceuticals; expertise in immunology, infectious diseases, oncology, cell & gene therapy.

Prof. Piotr Skowron, Ph.D.

Board Member · Scientific Advisory Board

Professor and Head of Molecular Biotechnology Department at the University of Gdańsk, and President & Director R&D of BioVentures Institute. Over 30 years of research in molecular biology of thermophilic bacteria and bacteriophages, novel gene cloning and expression technologies, and construction of programmable concatemeric proteins for bionanotechnology, vaccine applications, and regenerative medicine.

Co-author of over 80 publications (Impact Factor +450) and 32 patents and patent applications. Inventor of the pAMP concatemeric platform technology. PhD from University of Wisconsin-Madison and University of Gdańsk; professor title conferred by the President of Poland in 2014.

Prof. Grzegorz Węgrzyn, Ph.D.

Scientific Advisory Board

Full Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Head of the Department of Molecular Biology at the University of Gdańsk. Elected member of the European Academy of Microbiology (2026). His research spans regulation of gene expression, DNA replication in bacteria and bacteriophages, and molecular mechanisms of human genetic and neurodegenerative diseases.

Author of over 500 publications and 12 patents. Recipient of the Jan Heweliusz Award for Natural Sciences. Former head of the Scientific Excellence Council of Poland. Postdoctoral training at the University of Nottingham and UC San Diego.
